Many great composers excelled in the forms of both opera and song. On Friday, 18 th October at Leighton House in Kensington, the soloists of Rose Opera will be celebrating contributions of composers including Mozart, Verdi, Puccini and Strauss to both genres.

On the operatic side, the singers, accompanied by piano, will perform individual arias, as well as famous duets and ensembles from operas such as Puccini’s La Boheme and Verdi’s Otello. Songs will include works by Mozart, Puccini, Verdi and Strauss.
