I love you

The themes of love and romance have rarely been far from the thoughts of the great composers, and the soloists of Rose Opera will be mining this rich seam of song repertoire for “I Love You! – an Evening of Romantic Song”, at Leighton House in Kensington on Thursday 11th July at 7pm. Soloists including soprano Tamara Ravenhill, mezzo-soprano Antonia Cviic, baritone Ian Helm, and tenors Grigore Riciu and Stephen Cviic, accompanied by pianist Richard Black, will be performing music by, among others, Schubert, Mahler (including the complete Rückert Lieder), Wolf, Vaughan Williams and contemporary Ukrainian composer Myroslav Volynsky.
