Opera Gala Concert: Star-crossed Lovers

7th November at 7pm

The phrase “star-crossed lovers”—first coined by Shakespeare —has come to symbolise timeless tales of passion, misunderstanding, and destiny. While often tragic, opera reminds us that love can be equally comic, tender, and unpredictable. Join Rose Opera for an evening of unforgettable music as our soloists, together with pianist Richard Black, explore the many shades of love through opera’s most poignant and playful moments. Expect a fresh and unusual take on the theme, delivered with artistry, emotion, and elegance.
