Rose Opera's trustees have significant experience in opera singing, directing and production, and business management.

Tamara Ravenhill

Tamara studied classical voice with Dodi Protero (New York, Julliard), and then in the UK with Enid Hartle, Robert Presley and now studies with Paula Anglin. Tamara holds a Diploma in Opera Performance from Birkbeck College, University of London. Tamara majored in violin in her native Ukraine.

Tamara is a lyrico spinto soprano. Recent opera roles have included: Ariadne in Ariadne auf Naxos (Strauss), Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni (Mozart), the Countess in the Marriage of Figaro (Mozart), Fiordiligi in Cosi Fan Tutte (Mozart), the title role in Suor Angelica (Puccini), Mimi in La Boheme (Puccini), Alice in Falstaff (Verdi), Vitelia in La Clemenza di Tito (Mozart) and many others. Roles in Opera Scenes include Tatiana in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin and Lisa in Queen of Spades; Eva in Meistersinger von Nurenberg (Wagner), Elsa in Lohengrin (Wagner).

 

Tamara co-founded Rose Opera in 2018 and is an experienced executive in management consulting. She holds an MA in foreign languages Summa cum Laude from the State Linguistic University of Kyiv, Ukraine and an MBA, Summa cum Laude from the University of Illinoi, Champaign-Urbana, specialising in International Business.  Her projects as opera producer includes Don Carlo, Ariadne Auf Naxos, Albert Herring, Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni and Cosi fan Tutte.
